What are Chemical Peels?
Chemical Peels is the term used to generally describe a method for maintaining or restoring the youthful, smooth, blemish free condition of your skin. For over 4000 years, this is one of the oldest known methods of extensive skin care treatments. From Cleopatra’s milk baths (lactic acid) to putting lemon slices under the eyes (citric acid), the variations, and results, are almost endless.
At Med Spa Plus, you will initially have your skin analyzed for the best combinations of treatments suitable for your skin type and objectives. Dr. Cantrell will personally review your needs and direct your specific treatments. After you’ve removed your make-up and lotions, your skin will be professionally cleaned to remove all traces of remaining cosmetics and chemicals.
We end with a facial massage using a serum specific to your skin’s needs, and a sunblock that does not sting the eyes. You are welcome to apply makeup directly after and you’ll find our lounges have sunlight spectrum lighting for accurate application.

is it REALLY Botox?
You’d think that after the problems Florida had a few years ago that this kind of thing would not still be happening, but it is. We’ve had patients describe treatments that didn’t sound like the Botox reconstitution was done correctly and some with results that don’t make sense from our experience with the product.
